Midlands based BOX telematics, leading provider of ‘wire-free’ telemetry and network airtime, has been awarded the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) license through which government agencies can effectively procure and deploy BOX’s global telemetry solutions.

The GSA license is a pre-negotiated contract for government purchasing officers and a preferred way of acquiring products and services. BOX met the GSA’s rigorous requirements which involved investigating existing customers, close scrutiny of company finances as well as quality audits on all company products.

“The U.S. government have a direct, convenient way to acquire our equipment and airtime services to meet their specialist needs,” said Mark Woolridge, Sales Director, BOX telematics. “We are the only telematics provider in the UK to be awarded the GSA license.”

With the U.S. government’s current focus on procuring technology to be deployed more effectively during times of crisis, BOX telematics will provide agencies with emergency response requirements to be rapidly implemented for critical relief efforts using its wide range of wire-free data solutions.
